THE PROCESS
1. Identify your audience - Uploads are visible to all employees. Ask ALEX cannot ask the user questions to find out what plans they might be eligible for.
2. Gather PDFs - Ask ALEX can only process PDF documents, and they all need to be in the same folder.
Download the checklist at the bottom of this article to keep track of which documents you've gathered. Remember you'll need to include all documents each time you upload to Builder.
If there are plans that some employees are not eligible for, you should consider not including those documents in Ask ALEX. We have a suggested FAQ to use in this instance.
3. Name files clearly - Ask ALEX will share a link to the files it is referencing so your employees can download the source of the details. Documents should be clearly named to align with the plans or details they are sharing.
4. Zip and upload - Compress all PDFs into a single .zip file for Builder.
5. Launch - Implement Ask ALEX alongside your Benefits Counselor and Go. Your Ask ALEX URL will be available on the “URLs/Publish” page in Builder.

Anything in your PDFs is visible to all users. Don’t upload restricted benefits unless that’s intentional
